Students are expected to meet one of the following criteria:

• successful completion of approved bridging or foundation program
• a UAI of at least 65 (70 for some programs), so completion of the HSC is no longer sufficient;
• completion of any 2 university subjects;
• partial completion (at least 50%) of an AQF Diploma;
• minimum of 2 yrs relevant work experience;
• completion of an AQF Certificate III or higher or equivalent industry qualifications;
